This evidence-based program, developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, integrates mindfulness meditation, body awareness, and gentle movement practices to support your journey toward greater balance and resilience.

Retreat Day: Saturday, September 6, 2025 (9:30am - 4:30pm EST)

The MBSR course is a significant investment of your time and effort. As such, we ask that you pay first, after which you will be emailed a link to an online intake form to complete your registration.
Refund policy: You may receive a full refund if you notify us via email (info@withserenanicole.com) before the start time of the orientation. If you attend orientation and decide that it is not the right time to take the course, you will receive a refund, less $40, if you notify us via email before the start time of Class 1.
You will be asked to provide your phone number during the payment process—this is so we can contact you should there be any changes to the course schedule, etc.
NOTE: payment confirmation and all subsequent email correspondence will be sent to the email address that your provide during checkout. If paying with Stripe, please remove or set the quantity to 0 for the Tiers that you will not be paying for.

Class meets weekly for a total of 10 times (including full day retreat).
The first meeting is an Orientation session that is required for all participants.
There is a full day retreat between Class 6 and 7 that is also required for all participants.
Participants must attend 7 of 8 classes in order to graduate and must make up the missed class by completing a make-up assignment that includes watching the video of the class and sharing reflections about what was learned with the teacher.

Throughout the course, you’ll engage in:
Each class will include formal meditation guidance and practice, teaching content centered around a specific theme, and exploration of themes through group dialogue.
There will be opportunities for sharing and asking questions.
Each class builds on what was introduced in the previous class.
Each class builds on what participants discover through practice and exploration during the week.
No prior experience with mindfulness or meditation is necessary. All are welcome.

To fully benefit from the program, participants are encouraged to:
Attend all sessions, including the retreat day. If you know that you will miss more than one class on the schedule, it is best to take the course at another time. Participation in the Orientation Class and Retreat Class are required.
Commit to daily practice. 45 minutes to one hour of daily meditation practice will be assigned weekly. Recorded guidance will be provided.
Class assignments. These assignments typically require only that you pay attention to aspects of what you are experiencing during the week between classes. In some cases worksheets will be provided to aid in reflection.
Approach the course with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to engage.
